Article in a cycling magazine I get. Talks about momentous occasions cyclist have over their lifetime. Quite a few I have experienced and may always remember.
For example....just a few
09. When you hang out at the bike shop and no one expects you to buy anything
22. Riding a bike through a big, congested city and feeling smarter than everyone else because you’re moving.
28. Getting hopelessly lost—deliberately (Happened last week, I just went on random roads to extend my ride, and by some insane luck I ended up at a back entrance to the greenway....man was I happy haha)
42. Rolling through a stop sign—and knowing it was the right thing to do.
57. Deciding which car to buy in part based on how it will carry your bikes. ( I had a conversation dealing with this to someone this week)
72. Crashing and immediately asking, "How’s my bike?" (Except it was not my bike, it was the shop's Madone) haha I was more afraid of the bike being broke than the guy who crashed in front of me who was hurt haha
85. Outsprinting a crazed dog. (I know the exact place it happened)
87. Waving at a cyclist coming the other way and being ignored.
98. Looking inside the bottle you’ve been using all season, seeing mold (This was in my hydration pack for mtn biking)
