Ugh.

So I was trying to do the alternator-battery cable for the big 3, and I think I fried my electricals...

The ratchet I was using to unto the alternator cable bolt touched the metal headers on my engine, and a huge shower of sparks erupted. I think the positive terminal slipped back into contact with the battery or something...argh.

Needless to say car won't start, can't jump it, etc.

How deep in **** am I? Is just my alternator cooked? Or can it be something much more severe? Any help would be appreciated.

PS. The car alarm system (which runs off a second battery) seems to be working fine, except the lights...

please, ANY help :(

probably just a fuse or a relay.since those are there for this reason to perfect further damage to electrical system..check the underhood fuse box.

Alright I'll be back in a few...

I have no interior lights, no trunk lights, no power seats, no nothing.....
but the battery is holding a charge.

Is there like a main fuse/relay that would stop EVERY electrical from working?
I noticed a 'battery' fuse in the fusebox but i couldn't get it out lol

Ok, so the Battery fuse (100A) is blown...

Is it correct to assume the blown fuse stopped any damage from happening? (The purpose of fuses right?)

How do I replace this fuse? I can't seem to be able to pull it out...is it screwed in or something?

If the fuses have never been changed, then they might need a little 'coaxing' to get them out. Take your time with them, but they will come out eventually.

Is the fuse a bigger "box" and is it red with a see through top?

If it's the one under the hood then that is the one that needs to be unscrewed and then replaced.

I had to go to Honda to get my fuse since I didnt find one locally anywhere.
