Haha yea thats power. I never had a system that handed out hair do's

People always want to ride with me when we are going on long trips though. Never figured out why, but it's always fun to have company haha.

Have you tried putting something around the "ball" that the mirror moves around on? The mirror will still distort when the bass hits, but you can probably put some tape or something on the back of the mirror to hold it still. I bet you can even do something so that the mirror hold in place firmer, but still looks clean.

Never thought of that. I think i'll try that out. Might just stick some folded paper in it and hide it with some black tape.

Thanks.

Mine was the same way, i moved the mirror a bit to play around with the ball, mine use to drop all the time with the bass hitting but i think what i did was squeeze everything together around the rear view mirror and then it doesn't even move at all now since then.

Thanks! How did you manage to squeeze everything together?

folded paper would work well I think. I think ch1R is saying that he pinched the mirror housing tightly around the ball so that the mirror is no longer adjustable, but stays in place firmly. I wouldn't want to do that, but some electrical tape or folded paper in the right places might hold it in place well enough.

crazy glue will be a mistake. I would probably try loctite green.

it's low strength, so the bond can be broken if you want to move the mirror, but it's also the highly penetrating version, designed to be applied to a seam after assembly. It would definily lock the ball in place, but should still be reversible.

I can't speak to whether or not it will eat the plastic, I've only ever used it on metal.

Dude i got two 12s with 1100 watts goin to them, i know exactly how you feel. haha

mine used to do it a lot worse though, to where every time the bass would hit the mirror would shoot downwards. But a few months a go i took it off, and where the ball is i just put a cotton ball there, trimmed off the excess, then put the mirror back on. It barely moves now. I mean it still MOVES a little, but not near as much as it used to. Maybe you should try that.
