Thanks for all the compliments guys. I'd really love a lip kit but Hawaii has horrible roads...the worst I've ever seen. Just to clarify the reverse LEDs cost $60. The LED tails themselves cost $120 I think. Night shots coming soon. I REALLY REALLY want a new camera but...I just don't have $2K laying around.

I believe they are these?

I wish the LED's filled up more of the housing instead of small patches, they're clean though. Wish I lived close to a beach just to go to and take pics at whenever lol.

Lol, it's cool, that's why I put the pics there
Yea, the Depo version has more LED's, but the clear indicator portion doesn't wrap around. These were cheaper as well I believe. I hope to someday (when I have expendable money haha) to purchase the DEPO LED lights, and open them up to put the outer lenses of these onto them. That would be unique :)

Where did you get the reverse LED's? I wanna get a set for mine as well. Pics of them?

Pssh, you don't need $2k for a nice camera...get a Cheap Nikon D40. Or, since I'm a Canon guy, find a used Rebel XT or XTi as a starter camera.

Damn that's sexy!! I like the setup. That first picture looks amazing! The wheels and tail lights are what really caught my eyes.

I bought all my LEDs from here except my dome light and tail housings.

Nikon is nice but doesn't feel comfy to me. I was gonna do a Canon 40D, but then the 50D came out and looks well worth the up in price. Then I gotta buy a tripod, head, memory cards, extra battery.... it adds up. I really want that 24-105mm L lense. :chucklesfawk:

Thanks man. I think I will do some more shots from that location at different times of the day to see if I can get any better "picture perfect" shots. Not bad for a point and shoot eh?

nice sedan man i like the leds

Thanks.

Lol, I know, I don't like Nikons. I have my XTi, making due with the equipment I have. 18-55 IS, 50mm f/1.8, 28-135 IS, CPL filters, flash, etc.

I just have a relatively cheap tripod, as it isn't all that heavy yet. Memory cards are a dime a dozen. I got 4 2GB cards from CL with a case for $25 a few weeks ago. And I got 2 batteries + charger for 25 as well. And an aftermarket battery for $10. Gotta look for the deals. If you end up getting an XTi, I could hook you up.

I would like to upgrade to a 40D as well. They're getting cheap. But that 7D looks mighty nice. I'm wondering if I should save up. But now that I think about it, it'd be better to take that intermediate step to the 40D and use that approx. $1000 saved for some glass.

I don't like Nikon simply for the fact that they hired Ashton Kutcher to be their spokesperson lol.
