a beater to me is like $1,000-$1,500...

i've look at cars at that price range and all i find around here is 88 and older hondas with engine or tranny problem
and i'll be communiting 2hrs each way so i need something dependable

id go for the legend too, more luxorius (sp?) and you wont get pulled over all the time. as for myself, i wanna get a small "wanna be" truck, like an older s10/ranger/toyota kinda deal. have it as a beater AND be able to offroad and have a little fun......like actually beat on it, haha.

tht's the reason y i was looking for an integra, corolla, sentra and civic..those cars are very good with mpg and have trong engines... i just got the celica cos it's dependable despite lower mpg.... 280 miles this week, and 1/4 tank to go... it's my first tank, but i hope to get 26-29 mpg

early-mid 90's Bike + great mpg + no insurance = best combo IMO
i been wanting to get my motorcycle endorsement eventually, but my parents won't let me drive on freeway though

i've owned a legend before and i woouldn't mind getting a one but a 5spd coupe, i'll sacrifice the gas mileague for the power.

Dude, I bought a '94 Prelude Si for $600! Put a H22A1 and find myself driving it more than my '98 Accord Coupe. Boy is it a beater, different colors, primer here and there but hauls butt!
