id prefer an early 90's 4.3l 5 speed 4wd s10, hahaha. i dont want anything big. i wouldnt mind a suburban, but eh, little too much for me right now.

I had a 97 GMC Sonoma (same as S10) with the 4.3L Vortec V6.... I loved that thing! That's a killer engine for that size truck. I had to get rid of it because of the kids and it took more gas than I was willing to buy...:(

how much gas did it suck up?

I'd guess around 20MPG.... but I'm not sure. It was probably how I drove it....

Good truck though.... strong, fast, power everything, 3rd door... had flowmasters on it.... I miss it.:( only downfall was the auto tranny.... a manual on that would have been heaven!!

You have the 454, right? God, that's a monster of an engine! The Vortec was like 265 C.I. I think..... I probably got less MPG than I stated but I really don't know.... I'd love to have an old blazer with the 454 in it... that would be cool.

LMAO..... thanks for the offer. but, even though gas is "only" $2.60 a gallon.... I'll still have to say no thanks.
