how bout a k24 bottom end and a k20 head. I thought someone was doing that before, but i forgot who

The K-Frankenstein is supposed to be the best setup out there but be prepared to shell out mad dough.

I'm doing this swap right now almost done getting most of the parts for the frank motor, G23 for the money is great for sure even a G22 or H22 swap but plz do not try doing a K swap I almost gave up lol so many things you need to buy lol it's a PITA.

yeah, being the 1st is always difficult dre.. dun give up :thumbsup:

g23 is best bang for the buck, esp if u want a boost friendly motor :naughty:

also, in tht article, it said that k20 and wiseco pistons were abt the same price? :huh:

Thats gonna be crazy man. I cant wait to see how it turns out. If I were you I would just leave that car N/A with that set-up. Your engine would almost be bullet proof hitting 8,200rpms all day long. But do you think the k23 block can handle all that stuff? Thats my only concern. The k20 is designed different than the k24. But that would be major kudos for you, people would be wondering what you got in there everytime u hit your v-tec crossover lol....

There is an issue with piston speed with the k24 bottom end along with the k20 head, the type-s Redline 8200rpm but the k24's have a Redline of about 6500 rpm-7000 rpm, I'm using a mixture of parts from the k24's and the k20 so it looks like it won't be safe to go past 7k-7200rpm with the frank setup at most. With the k24 you won't need to rev to 8k anyway and if boosted even better lol.
