Let's look at it this way...

Built F23

G23/22

Thank you, drive through.

I mean since going for more power it would also be a built G23/22 as well..so sorry for confusion.
but probably easier for just a built f23?

Well then you'd have to look at the cost/performance ratio.

Thats a new head, new exhaust manifold, new intake manifold, plus whatever else or...

You have your stock one, pull it, build it, put it back in.

Depends on what you're willing to spend to get what you want.

I know this seems kind of stupid but what about a J30A with a 6 speed tranny? I was told that a car that has a 4 cyl wouldnt be able to support a v6 even though there is a v6 made for the same style of car.

I know and witnessed someone that had a 4 cyl 6th gen who swapped in a J32a2 with 6 speed into his car. I think a 6 cyl would be awesome as well. I for one have a J32a2 w/ 6 speed, but I started out with a 6 cyl to begin with.

I think the cost/performance ratio is best when you just take your own engine and build it up.

The F23 is a real nice engine to build off, it has a lot of potential and will take a beating. Some members have already proved it's capabilities NA or Turbo.

OBD2 H22's are a favorite, because DOHC somehow means superior in the Ricer World. We all know that if demand goes up, price goes up. Simple.

H22's are a great engine, but it's not a real cheap engine to swap. It's better to just buy a prelude. They basically weigh the same as our 4cyl accords anyways.

K24 block and K20 might bring the best of both worlds, Torque and a high revving engine. I say, why go through the trouble of doing this swap if your not going to allow the k20 head do it's job. Find a way to safely allow the k24 block rev high. If this can't be done or there are doubts, just get the whole K20 engine itself.

Personally if I was to swap any engine, it would probably be from a TSX.
