And another thing.. I was driving earlier today at night and I REALLY noticed that my light output had dramatically increased. It was quite pleasing to my eyes. Now I'd really recommend doing this!

heh i hope its not the placebo effect, although upgrading to bigger wires should give you more lumens. going to see if i have a extra spare of 30 bucks to invest. still waiting for v6 pix!

can anyone confirm that 5/16 ring terminals will work? someone asked and never got an answer. knuconcepts only have cheap 5/16s.

Yeah, they work. I used them for my Big Three and they all fit just right.

For the engine/chassis ground...what if you changed the ground that's there already. (located a little bit low...on the top right from the oil dipstick)...or leave that on and add the other one to the strut top as well?

I already added one to the strut top but just thinking if i should take the other one out or leave it lol

I'm also going to redo the batt-neg to the transmission ground since I have a couple of frayed strands on it. One question though ...

Battery Cable

Is there a reason why a good section of the cable (towards the transmission side) is left open and not covered up like the rest of the cable? Is it safe to have the cable completely covered from end to end? I'm thinking that it won't make a difference, but just want to double check with you guys.

It's a grounding cable which means there is a negative charge (or none) going through it. It's not positively charged and won't short your system.

the electrons are on the - side...they would need some protons (positively charged) particles to complete the circuit dont connect your + battery terminal to the ground cable and you'll be fine

yeah ... I know. I just started second guessing that cable once I researched and found out that even new oem replacement battery cables are sold w/ 3-4 inches of the wire jacket stripped off. Just wondering why they don't sell them completely wrapped up.
