its easy. the hardest thing about mine was that my passenger side light had no dust boots so the screws holding the lower reflector thing (idk what its called) were rusted so it took a while to take them out. but other than that the longest part is waiting for the paint to dry

OP, if you do not have the time for a DIY...then just grab a pair of ebay, it'll run you close to what you'd pay someone on here for them anyways unless you get a steal of a deal.

I did the same and just used the oem set for a retro later on...and i didn't have to hurry as the car had a set of headlights to be used anyways. The output of ebay ones compared to oem if using and hid kit is pretty much the same. If you use normal 9006 bulbs then the ebay ones have some diminished output.

If you want to keep yours now to have to later go back to stock, I will vouch for Depo headlights all day. around 80 something bucks on Amazon shipped. You will have to blackhouse them yourself, though.

I have some aftermarket blackhoused headlights since my OEM ones got messed up. The fitment to the original screw holes was completely off and the passenger side required me to cut pieces of the headlight off. Was a huge hassle, but they look just like regular while mounted. My recommendation is just DIY it, but if you really want to buy some then here is a link:

I have a set I blackhoused. They are stock and they have have a fresh clear coat on the lens. They were cleared by an autobody shop. I can upload pics if you are interested.
