blackout tailight

i have a 99 coupe with the long tailight, i was wondering if there was any cheap way to black them out that wouldnt look crappy

Of course man, it's called search. This has been covered TOO many times. You can use black paint with reducer, you can use spray window tint, you can use vinyl film, you can use whatever works! Do some research.. No reason to create a thread about something that has been covered endlessly. Go read my friend. :coffee:

In fact, I have a thread I have created specifically for this outlining my results, you can search for that too ;). I used to have the tinted upper tail lights.

Don't black them out. Coupe tails look nice just the way they are. IMO

why would you black them out? other than tinting them, i dont see why you would change the red and white.

P.S. I don't think search function is working, i was looking for that free car fax thing, but search didn't work.

I used VHT Nightshade and almost 8 months after they still look great, might have faded a little bit but they look good. Used 3 coats + few clearcoats.
