I used NGK Laser Platinum plugs when I replaced mine. They are OEM for my car.

A little off original post, but I put autolite plugs from auto zone in and had to take them out 2 weeks later because they were garbage. Went with the oem plugs, now everything's fine.

Unless your car is boosted or spraying, anything other than NGK V power is a waste of money, and probably a detriment to performance. /thread

NGK definitely. Just stock replacements or colder if you are boosted. I don't know about the frying a coil due to spark plugs though. But yeah.
