One of the slider pins is seized

this.

Pull the slider pins, clean them up wth some fine sandpaper, grease the snot out of it when you put it back together.

or go buy new pins, they're not expensive, but I am a cheapskate. 10 minutes with the wire wheel on a bench grinder and you can clean all of them up.

Yup! I know because the ones on my 240 are seized and wear the pads down the same way. I can't even take them out and since I'm going to upgrade I'm not even going to bother lol.

Okay. With the good info I received from here, I am going to re-do the brakes. I did some research on what lubricant to use on the slider pins, and went out and picked up some Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant. I'm going to do the slider pins in both caliper brackets. From what I've read, they just pull out once you disconnect them from the rubber boots. I'm going to clean them up, and take some steel wool to them to get them smooth. I'll probably try a small screwdriver to clean out the holes in the brackets the slider pins go in, then reinstall the pins after I put some of the Permatex on. Last but not least, lining up the pin on the back of the inner pad with the slot in the caliper piston.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks for all the help, by the way!
