brakes squeal for a couple reasons...the shims are dry or the pad/rotor surface is smooth (both are already mentioned, but i didn't want to start the post with a sentence fragment)...
besides lubing the rear of the pads (not really necessary but why not), you want to lube the little thin metal shims on the top and bottom of the pads...that is, think about the brake as cardinal directions...the shims are on the way north and south of the caliper bracket. they might even fall out when you pull the pads.
another "might as well" is scuffing the pad surface with some 80-ish grit sandpaper to make the surface rough again.
To lube it, I would have to remove the caliper, correct?
and as for scuffing the surface, I may give that a try because its quite obvious the surface is smooth, its almost a polished aluminum look lol.
