So you say the swap date is this August? Well I need to save up money regardless, so I will get to wait and see how yours works out. Make sure to
do a good writeup. :)
Thanks for all the info so far anyways.

Oh Hey! I just realized. My Accord is DX f23a5 trim, so the compression is lower.
Now if for the G23 swap does that mean I have to get the pistons off of
a f23a1? Or is the compression due to the head?

No, you can use your same pistons which yeild 8.8:1, its just that you wont have as high compresssion as the f23a1 in g23 form. With the G23 swap on your motor, you will probably have that same compression as a stock f23a1(9.3:1), which is what the f22's have once they do the g-hybrid. The compression usually bumbs up .4 to .5 points from the results ive seen. If your next question is "will it still be quick?" my answer is............yes sirrrrrrrr lol

Ok, so how come my compression is lower if the pistons are the same?
The block should be the same too right?

But youre saying that I should not be worried bout the fact thay I have
f23a5 bottom end if I choose to go for the g23.

Here are the pics of my Delta 260 grind camshafts. When I first got them I compared em with my stock cams and the lobe separation is "Way" different than stock and so is the duration on intake and exhuast. It not your typical stage one grind at all, so ive been told. Cant wait to get my car running!!!!
