The reason I ask because my driver side muffler almost fell off today. I could hear unusual noise which was not loud at all just different. After I came home, I went to take a look and the muffler was hanging loose on a weird angle. Sort of like hellaflush 240sx:henry:

The inside of the muffler looks hairy as ****:wtf1:

I will take it back to the shop where I got the muffler adjusted and a leak fixed. If I dont get it fixed for free, can I just use single exhaust like Matt and other V6 single exhaust guys? Basically, I would want the exhaust gas to come from the passenger side muffler only.

You pretty much sort of answered your own question...
Kind of... I think matt has larger diameter piping though, correct me if I'm wrong. I have a single muffler on my V6, but I have 2.5" pipe, though.

^thats what i have also. You eould just need to block off the pipe going to the driver side at the y-pipe by the rear Axle. You would probably need to add another hanger also. It probably wouldnt cost you more then $50/75 at a muffler shop

Muhib, why not see if you can pick up a stock 4cyl exhaust from Standard Auto?

Unless you plan to upgrade your current exhaust, then a 4cyl cat-back should do the trick.

I do not plan on upgrading the exhaust:p.

Would a 4 cylinder stock exhaust be able to work with V6?

They should both be 2.25 inch diameter so yeah. Might need to be adjusted though length wise or other areas
