So true ^

If the gap is off on one cylinder, or a tad off on all 4, then it could cause this cut-out. If they are NOT at least 1-step colder plugs, you'll have issues. I'm pretty sure we talked about the plugs and they are the corect ones - you have the NGK BKR7E right? Those are already 1 step colder, if you need colder plugs maybe try BKR7E or BKR9E. I am running BKR7E on my build till this day.

Quoted from H-T:
"12psi would put me in place for the 7 heat range, but 15-18psi would put me in the 8 heat range." 9 Would be for anything higher than 20psi I take it.

Anothre guy recommended using some "ngk stock num 5238
r5671a_9" plugs.

From this thread: http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1087307

Remember, the only bad thing about colder plugs, even if they are colder than what you need for your setup, you decrease changes of detonation but the only risk you have is fouling a $5-$8 plug, which is easily replaced.

ya thats what I'm thinking too. I asked my tuner what he re-gapped them to before the tune since I know that was working fine. I've still yet to even pull the plugs out lol. I've been too lazy and too busy selling my 240 and searching for a new one to pick up.

ordered them off amazon. tuner replied. said they were gapped to 17 when he tuned it. which woul make sense as to why it got worse when i gapped them to 28. and would explain my problem since only one was 17 and the rest were low to high 20's. I'll gap the new ones to 17 like he said and see if it fixes the problem.

new plugs showed up today. since when does advance and auto zone not carry 7e's anymore? they couldn't even order them.....and neither could any other auto parts stores in my area. oh well, paid less to get them off amazon anyway. gonna gap em to 17 like my tuner suggested. hopefully that fixes my problem cause I miss boost
