Damn car is doing that thing again.

Symptoms:
When car is hot (not outside hot) - as in normal operating temperature - and it's been parked between 5~20 minutes, the next time I turn it on it will rev up to 1200~rpm, then die right away. There is no low idle, no hesitation. If it's parked for more than an hour (enough time for it to cool), it starts fine.

When this happens, if I rev the car 3000~4000rpm about 10 times, sometimes the idle normalizes. If this doesn't work, I have to rev higher, throw the car into gear and bolt out of whereever I am - stress for the auto tranny I don't want to put...and even then sometimes it will die.

Once I get it going, it's completely fine. Normal idle at 650rpm.

No CEL's at any time.

Things I've done:
- Completely cleaned Throttle Body and IACV.
- Replaced main relay
- Tried listening for the fuel pump whine. I'm 95% sure it primes everytime, although I can't say because I have a few other things starting up that also whine.

So.......what else is there left???

Is the fuel pump assembly the next thing on the list?

I`m not sure, but you can try to chek:
1. The temperature sensor
2. The rotation sensor

What happens when you fill the tank? Do you have to pedal the throttle then too to get it started?

Where is this sensor?

Let me know if this fixed your problem. Lmao! You can help me fix mines too, although my car has been running fine for the past 3-4 days so I'm really happy!

Seems to be that we're the unlucky ones up here in Canada. heh
