Ok so I was parked outside my friends car with the engine running and all of sudden noticed that the emergency blinkers all of sudden dimmed and it wasn't even bright in the cluster. Suddenly the car shut off and would start and when i tried all you would hear is clicking. i tried to jumpstart but wouldn't work. I recently finished my h22swap and 5speed swap and had to get the car rolling get it in gear lol. I don't have any subs or excessive audio equipment but where should i go about first? Alternator or battery? and what brand of battery if so? Thanks

I would say alternator. But might as well do the battery too. And since you don't have excessive power demands, any battery will do.

make sure connections to battery is on point... Give your starter a few slaps while starting the car.

When you get it started, go to Autozone and they can pin point which is bad, alt or batt.

Good luck

Sounds like the starter or not a solid connection with either the power or ground wire. Tap the starter with a rubber mallet. And double check all the power wires.
