fitment from seibon is good from what i've heard and seen

oh and also. do i need to do anything to the hood to keep it in good condition. ive never owned any carbon fiber parts so im lost.

ie. do i add a layer of clear coat to protect it? or just add wax?

and who doesnt use hood pins and doesnt have a problem? lol are hood pins really necessary?

I have hood pins on mine because with the V6 hood struts installed, they will push the hood up on the sides even when it's latched on the factory latch, creating just enough lift to make a gap around the grille/headlights. Without the struts, the hood sits normally, so if you have a 4cyl that won't be an issue.

i have hood pins with mine. def get dude. better to spend 30 bucks on hoods pins than end up killing someone when your hood flies up on the highway jmo. also check out carbon creations. they made my hood and the fitment and color are perfect after almost 3years :D

A CF hood made by VIS or Seibon isn't going to fly up on the highway.

I don't run hood pins on mine :ugh:

my hood flying up was never a concern.
