slow down, and stock up on bus tickets :henry:

dude i know right. lmao. ima get me a moped lol.

List your car for sale, sell it. Use the money to pay back your dad for bailing you out, court fee's, infraction costs, etc. Then use the rest of the money to buy a bicycle or a bus pass.

Hopefully they take your license for a long period of time. There are enough bad drivers on the road as it is, had you had hit someone, they would have died no doubt about that.

I realize this sounds harsh, but I'm just telling you how I feel about it. I don't care about YOUR safety (which is why I disagree with seat belt laws for 18+), but I do care about others safety especially when compromised due to others negligence.

nah dont worry about it. i know wat i did is wrong and i respect your opinion.

I got clocked last year going 81 in a 45

I got lucky he dropped me under wreckless driving, etc.

and gave me a normal ticket, didn't take me to jail, didn't impound my car, but gave me a $280 ticket.

But that was the last time I sped like that, because I truly did not know till that point that it is a criminal charge.

I've gotten a $370 ticket for just 24 over. I doubt you'll get a plea bargain for something that huge. You're luck you have a dad that would bail you out. Mine sure wouldn't haha

Smell's like SR-22...

That was pretty dumb of you, emergency or not. I understand emotions run high at those times but you COULD have called 911 and asked for a police escort. I have done it in the past myself.

What was the emergency anyway if you don't mind me asking?

Without getting in to the personal business of the OP, I imagine that this situation is not going to go well for you.

Were you insured under your parents or on your own?

It iwll be worse for you if you were on your own because your rates will probably skyrocket, and not good for your parents either, because it will definately raise their rates as well.

Matter of fact, you may be considered uninsurable for a while.

I would never approach that speed without a good radar detector, and I sure as hell wouldn't do it in a 45. If the speed limit was 45 you were in city limits and there are a lot of variables in that setting that could have resulted in injury/death to you or those around you. The only suitable place for that speed is a clear highway in the middle of nowhere or preferably, on the track.

You've learned your lesson it sounds like, let us know what happens. Worst case at least you won't be in the big house making nice with a guy named Molly.

i know it was. normally i have more common sense than that but idk. it was pretty early in the morning (2am) after just waking up lol. i totally agree im an idiot though. ah and the emergency. welp i did lose my mother in o6 (i was 14 when she passed) so my family is pretty F'ed up after that. my dad takes care of my little sister on his own. so i get a phone call with my sister crying and yelling. so i rushed over to where they lived. bt only to get pulled over. so i called my aunt and my dad ended up in the hospital for overdose.

no it really isnt, bt i gta go through it since im responsible for my actions. and im insured under my parents. not my own.

oh trust me there was nobody on the high way. its a straight away between two towns. a pretty long straight away. not in city limits. looks like an abandoned highway, if you can imagine that. haha and there is a quarter mile drag strip next to it too lol. i live on a small island called maui. google it and you can see wat i live on haha. and the highway i got pulled over on is called mokulele highway. im sure u can find it. i didnt even reach the other end of it towards kihei. bt yah i know when i shouldnt speed especially if there is people around. bt in this circumstance there really was no one around.

bt yah i learned my lesson. ill let you know whats going to happen when my court date arrives. and yah that will be a totall nightmare lol.
