Sorry but no excuse is valid for doing 110 on a 45mph... please!?!!!

Unless you're being chased and being shot at... maybe.

if you are under 21 you will lose your license. Get an attorney! Do not go alone! If you are over 21...still get an attorney. It's considered reckless or could be determined to be racing. New super speeder law about doubles the fines these days. Bottom line....get an attorney and let them plead the case. There are attorneys that specifically deal with traffic infractions. I just used one to keep a ticket off my license. I didnt even have to go to court. I signed a limited power of attorney and he went for me. I paid him 400 in fees and the fine was 240. I did 80 in a 55 but it was reduced to 14 over which makes it non-reportable. Let the lawyer plead your case.

Think yourself lucky you never killed anyone - that would be enough to serve you PRISON time - which can do a lot more damage to your life, let alone a driving ban.

Generally speaking it isn't worth speeding nowadays, since it will cost you more fuel in the long run, and fuel prices are not cheap these days.

They do say that going over 100 mph is attempted manslaughter and a felony.
