We. Need. Traction Bars.

it will help out performance as well as tranny drops and relocated front mounts

hmmmm. Your reply seconds the motion, so to speak. However, I think a specialty/different company may be our best option here.

This is good info for anyone wanting to do a "more than usual" suspenion set-up. I had no idea we could upgrade those 2 aspects of the front suspenion. This type of bracing/upgrade set-up would let you tackle Auto-X with a fury, no? lol

Few questions on that:

Would it be ok for street driving? its just gonna make it more stable correct?

If we add a traction bar setup for the front
will we see any added stress on the front suspenion components?
or
possibly even of cause pre-mature wear of the frames "seams" if, there are any?
or both of the above?

Do you think the traction bars combined wth Cusco's available Front Lower Tie Bar(made for Acura CL, but crosses over to Accord) would become useless.
....in other words, would the Traction Bars solve both "bracing" aspects, or would we still need the lower tie brace there, to do its job of bracing the arms

just read a PM from Tony @ Tiger Tuning, vendor on V6P who just ran a group buy for the 7th Gen Accords - (see pics of items on first page)
...wanted to update this post with where its going. Thats why this one is sepaerate.

I posted in the 7th gen group buy thread by Tiger Tuning and seems we could have the manufacturer do some research. But it's up to the manufacturer to decide, since it's thier cashflow that has to be spent, not ours. I'll update the thread as needed.

post a reply if you would actually want an extra chassis brace made and would actually, truely, make sure 100%, that you would or would be able to buy one -- IF it COULD be made..price not improtant.
but. come on, be real.
it would probably be around the same price as the 7th gen stuff.

That item is for the CG4 Chassis code 4 door Sedan.
Our 2 doors are the CG2 Chassis code.
Where are you getting CG6? is there a CG6 chassis?

Don't you guys think it would mount up different on a 4 door?? It is possible it would mount up to the CG2, but Ultra Racing would need to mock it up on a CG2 chassis to verifiy-- which overseas would be the TSX model, correct?
or, 2 of you guys could buy it and test fit.

I'm not in touch with Ultra Racing, but yeah, that ebay item MIGHT work.
** Also, there is a member on Acurazine who has the 01-03 Acura CL 4-point Ultra Racing brace on order. He said the CG2 and YA4 chassis look the same. I'll stay in touch with him to see if he can mock that one up on the CG2chassis.

At this point, I'm thinking either one of those would work for us. So, we may have all the bracing pieces we need for our CG2 chassis. ????

if you google cg4 accord it tells you that the cg4 chassis is a coupe chassis
it could be a honest mistake by ultra racing
im pretty sure that what they meant to say cg chassis with 4 doors
here is what i found confirmed by two sites:
CF8 Accord 4 Dr., F23A5
CG5 Accord 4 Dr., F23A1
CG6 Accord 4 Dr., ULEV, SULEV, F23A4
CG1 Accord 4 Dr., J30A1
CG3 Accord 2 Dr., ULEV, F23A1
CG2 Accord 2 Dr., J30A1
those traction bars look so damb cool. Do they make some for our cars?
im probably going to buy the 4 pt bracing from ultra racing lets see how that goes
