Re: 6GA 250whp BUILD!!!

I agree, its pretty much impossible to gain 130 na whp, from upping compression and adding an agressive cam.

Thats one of the dumbest statements I ever heard! Stick wit your baby build and let us real engine builders show you how to make power!

Sounds like a lot of money. Why dont you just go for a h22 built? i still have my h22 block and head sitting at the shop. i needa get raid of it throw me and offer. get it sleeved and throw in some high comp pistons. etc. you're better off doing that snice you're not even able to smog your car anymore doin that swap. but that's my opition. good luck on the project.

okay "real engine builder" wheres your "built" engine? oh wait you dont have one, you only have bolt ons? wow thats a real hardcore build!!! you beat d series civics? WOWEEE!!!! my moms oddysey can to.

you can barely get 150+ whp out of an f22 with 6-8 pounds of boost your telling me you can get MORE than that with just higher compression and agressive cam. this isnt possible with b series motors, hell this is barley plausible with the almighty k series motor, let alone a non vtec single cam motor. and for that drag isnight I bet that motor has tens of thousands of dollars put into it, you can put that much in a lawn mower motor and get power out of it. your comparing apples to oranges. im really trying not to come across as a hater but as a realist. Im just going off common knowledge. If you prove me wrong I'll be the first to congratulate you.

Thats funny when I know for a fact I have k20a3 pistons in my motor now! Oh, why didnt I say anything about it, because I dont reveal too much and I dont post too many pix until I feel my car is ready for pix, so before you run your mouth, make sure you know whats goin on. How about w/bolt ons I dynoed at 143whp/147whp w/bolt ons, how about w/k20 pistons and H23 head studs I dynoed at 159whp/167whp runnin lean! I can show you dyno slips once I find them. So, who only has bolt-ons? You know what im gonna stop now!

PS: Im gonna update my sig just for you buddy.

Take it to pm's guys..

And sorry but I'm with Accordian...you're not gonna see 130whp from a cam and any bump in compression that isn't 12:1 or higher. At least not on our engines.
