i like the idea. the only thing i'm not sure about is only allowing contributing member's to bump their fs thread. i would think that regular members would then either end up bumping their thread anyways, or creating the same thread again cause their's has moved to the 3rd or 4th page and they feel like no one sees it. personally i never look pasted the second page.
being able to lock our own threads would be nice but people could just simply change the thread title to "sold"....i just noticed how acurazine how they can change the fs/wtb prefix to "Sold"

not trying to be dense, but what's it matter? do people spend a lot of time browsing the FS section too confused to be able to tell what is available and what isn't?

prevents noob bumps, and people asking "this still available?" and the seller saying "nope, already sold it" with no indication of that in the thread.

tidyness :lawl:

edit: i see a WTB for xbox games as the first post in the "other" classifieds section...click on it, "no thread specified" even though it was JUST bumped

just pruned all threads that hadn't been posted in in more than 30 days. that thread must have been bumped as the prune was running
