clicking noise from tranny please help!

hey guys.. recently ive been having a very light clicking noise come from what sounds like my trans when leaving first and sometimes letting off the clutch in second gear.. any idea? i can also hear it if i step on the gas in 3rd gear at a low mph, the rpm's bounce and then a little click, please help??? i wanna fix this problem my car is an 01 5 speed with 66k on it.. it cant possibly be the tranny already! i hopee =X

at 66k nothing was replaced... could some suspension begin to goo around this time? ball joints or anything?

Not sure if the Accords have this problem, but something similar happened with the D series engine in my Civic. Turns out the clicking noise was the bearings in the distributor and not long after the noise started the whole distributor imploded.

Well as I said - not sure if Accords have the problem, if it is the distributor bearings you should be able to hear it if you get your ear close enough to the distributor. The clicking in mine was actually the rotor inside the distributor knocking on the terminals on the underside of the cap.

Check the axles... the hanger bearing on the intermediate shaft can make a constant click under load at low speed too.

Mine just started doing this too.....mine sounds like it's coming from the tranny side of the transmission.
