I have adjusted my valves on my Integra before. You don't need to worry unless it starts sounding bad. If you really want to do it, go ahead and do it though. It's not to hard, at least it wasn't to hard on the Integra. I had to buy feeler gauges and a special tool that had a wrench and flat head built together, but that was just because it was DOHC Vtech. You may just need the feeler gauges, a flat head, and a wrench. Get a Haynes manual, it will tell you how to do it.

I don't know if the V6 is easy to do.

i dont know if this will help or not, and im thinking it prolly wont.....

my car makes somewhat similar sound, but only when i first accelerate....kinda hard to explain....yes i do have manual, and like...it makes sort of clunking noise from time to time, when i take clutch out to the shift point and start gas-ing.

also makes that clunking noise once again when i shift shifter from first to second.....

first, i thot it was clutch going bad, but i can still chirp on second gear, i dont think its the clutch.....i need to check rear engine mount, but im not too sure if this is the noise engine tilting/hitting fire wall.....

You'd have to change the pulley. If you can't DIY, it will be expensive. Might as well get a new timing belt since you'll have to remove the old one to change the pulley anyway. IF your problem is the tensioner pulley
