The glove box has one too! And it also doesnt come on unless your headlamps are on!

Yeah I would do that but I'm preparing to sell my car so I want everything working right before I sell it

this is exactly what i'm doing! my clock light has been out for like 5 years and i just never bothered changing it. but since i'm selling my car soon i'm looking into getting it replaced.
its kind of weird because when i drive other cars with a lit clock i think wow that's nice...
