It's definitely not constant vibration. Just when I hit bumps and as of yesterday when i turn in either direction i get a loud clunk. I'll check out the end links, possibly tomorrow, if I can make myself get up early. I thought I checked the ball joints and they looked good but I'll double check them as well and look at the Motor Mounts again.

when i had my old suspension, it was making the clunking noise because the shocks were blown and it was basically using the spring itself as a shock absorber.

Are you feeling constant vibration when driving? That would suggest bad motor mounts. If you're only having problems over bumps, seems like that would be suspension related. Maybe you're hitting your bumpstops?

Not to threadjack but what if i got s small vibration while driving sometimes? Motormounts have 228k new axles new tires and balanced. Id have to glcheck for play just never thought motormounts woukd do that

I have this same clunk and i don't know what else to replace.... I've replaced endlinks to no avail.. Same clunk.

Maybe it's my upper ball joints? Only thing else I can think of is Maybe the lower bushings where the strut fork bolts to.

I think i'll try that next, but Everything seems tight under there last time I checked a week ago.. I just replaced the Lower balljoints and get the same clunk. The clunk got louder ever since I put more preload onto my FF type 1s about a year ago though... I think I'll try and preload them back to factory and then see if that solves it...

is it a clunking noise when u suerve the car back and fourth??
because whenever i take a really sharp turn i can hear a clunk and i know for a fact my front engine mount is torn but i am not sure if thats causing the noise
its driving me crazy also
if u guys are experiencing the same thing as me its gonna get worse. with any little turn of the wheel and a small imperfection on the road u will hear the clunk
sometimes i feel like my subframe is gonna fall out because my suspension feels loose :skurred:
