so you did or didn't like it blkcurrant? have u driven anything stiffer than stage 1 as far as exedy is concerned? any cars with lightened flywheels? If so, what was your impression?

I didn't like it for the short distance I drove it. Never driven anything with a stiffer than stg1 clutch. Nothing with a lightened flywheel as far as I know either.

My advice: don't f#ck with the clutch unless you're making enough power that you need to. It's the number one way to destroy comfort and street drivability and you can't just switch it back so easily like you can an intake.

Are you going to drag race or auto-x more than twice a year? If not, I'd pass.

A stage 1 or 2 Exedy will be plenty streetable. As will a Fidanza or ACT Streetlite flywheel. Hell, I'd get the ProLite at 9.9 lbs. My Fidanza is 8.8 lbs.

It's competition clutch. I talked with some people, and they highly recommend this clutch. No one gave me any specific info on any of these clutches I asked for originally, concerning the poll, and I put the same poll on e-h.com, here, and h-t.com.

I talked to a few shops, and this one my buddy's getting work done, for his EVO, specializes with Honda's and he said the CC stage 5 feels a bit stiffer than a stage one but it has very good durability and it just costs a bit more. He's had literally no complaints with CC clutches and I originally was considering the fidanza as a flywheel but he recommended going with the whole competition clutch package.
