its the lower mount and not the collar. i loosen the collar alraedy with the pipe wrench. just need the lower mount.

^ oh its the rear? damn... makes it harder... but pipe wrench is still the way to go

yeah its the rear. how am i going to use the pipe wrench on that? theres nothing holding it and if its on the car still the same.

the point of them is that they use friction to grasp the object.

pipe wrench man.. just try it. Who cares ifyou scratch the paint off. ahah

or try this.. put the suspension back on the car with only the 2 upper strut mount bolts and then tighten those up. Than spin the bottom collar with the pipe wrench
