So i finally had the time & weather right to finish adjusting my coilover to a height i like unfortunately the left rear gave me the most trouble. It basically seized on me & i couldnt get to budge anywhere n its about a half inch off from the other side. with help from a neighbor i removed the screw that holds the coilover to the lower arm n managed to move it around. this is kinda concerning me now has anyone had this problem & what did u do ?

Put some anti seize on it as well if you can to keep it from sticking again in the future.

On one of mine, the adjusting collars were SEIZED as a mofo. Nothing worked.....

That is, noting until I got out a huge fvcking pipe wrench. That turned the collars.... lol.

one of mine is like that too. i tried everything you guys have mentioned and nothing has worked. so i just lowered the other 3 to match the height of that one. good thing it was already pretty low. im still worried about later one, what if i get rims and i need to change the height. i guess then ill have to figure something out, ive actually thought about just replacing that coilover.

i even took it to a shop and they couldnt do anything with it.

i think i should try that. hope it works!

pb blaster and a wire brush will probably solve your problems.

is that stuff like wd40? would i be able to purchase that at like autozone or pepboys?

i had the same problem. i took it to a shop, and it was really stuck! they used a pry bar and a big fat hammer and hit it. still didnt move. then one hard blow risking the lower collar would break it came loose. that was only one side. and still couldnt adjust the height cause i tihnk it was really dirty. im soaking them everyday with wd40. and hope by next thursday i can get them loosen.
