Q: Can I use an AEM Bypass Valve with the V2?
A: NO. AEM V2 Induction Systems utilize a dual chamber to create multiple frequency sound waves. The installation of the AEM Bypass Valve would disrupt the tuning of these systems, and in many cases the tube diameter of the V-2 systems exceeds the maximum size of the AEM BPV making it impossible to install.

Ahh, well yeah, if you have the V2, you're out of luck.

Hunter, YOU can be the first to chop a $250+ intake in half just to install a bypass valve......:fail:

The I4 will be first. A V6 one will take a little more time. I am still trying to figure out how I want the pipe to attach to the V6 box since the opening is an oval and not a normal circle.

i can use a cone filter instead of the oem air box, right? i :love: my fujita filter

What would the performance gain be on this compared to say a cold air intake. With this it just replaces the stock rippled plastic tube right, and a K & N filter? So you still reuse the airbox and the muffler in the front bumper right?

Would the Piping come in any other colour other then silver?

Looks interesting though, might give it a try when you guys release it.

I like the sound of an open air intake, and its quiet when ur easy on the throttle
