Cutting your strut towers yay or nay?

So is this necessary to be slammed? or will it just make a annoying noise going over bumps but still be functional ?

Cutting the strut tower keeps the uca from hitting the strut tower. If ur low n you have ever herd a loud thud, n it felt like u have no suspension it's cuz ur uca just smacked the strut tower. Mine had about an inch of travel b4 it would hit so I was hearin that annoying thud a lot, not to mention beating the šhit out of my uca. Since I cut mine the ride has been sooo much better

The "fix" was actually taking the rim apart and replacing that part of the rim, or just fixing the crack, itself?

I would not have the crack welded, because the crack would come back. The inner was replaced with a brand new barrel. Buuuuuuuuuut I hit a new snag lol.

Long story short, I'm still on my Grams, only now the VS-XXes are up front.
