I went a year on both of my fronts busted... :lawl: money was tight...don't judge me. :eh:

But it is recommended to just replace the whole axle when you do it. It is just as easy, and just as much money.

All that is going to happen is eventually it is going to run out of grease, and your cv joints are going to dry out. Resulting in them popping when you turn. Mine did this for well over 6 months before I replaced them. They're really nothing to be too worried about, but I would do something as soon as I could, just to get it out of the way.

lol The boots prevent dirty from getting into the grease. otherwise they'll seize up. I did a cv joint on a 01 civic the other day 51 bucks at autozone. Rebuilt but with lifetime warranty lol. Surely you can afford 51 bucks or something of the sort....
