That's a great idea! I've heard using a screwdriver can help to hear the injectors too. Maybe I'll try that. I can;t believe I haven't though about swapping injectors...hopefully that will help me find my problem.

Yes, I got some new wires, they just came today.

I'm going to try wires and injector swapping tomorrow...I'll let you know how it goes.

Hopefully the diagnosis is complete tomorrow!

Diagnosis Complete!

Luckily I didn't have to mess around with the fuel injectors though. Turns out it was the spark plug wires. However, I have a feeling it was a combination of the distributor cap and wires. The wires I had in there were fairly new, so that surprised me. I had only got them about a year and a half ago...but I'm not sure how long they're meant to last. Never buying no-name brand wires from small auto parts stores again. Hopefully the NGK ones I got will last a bit longer.

I also went to the gas station and put some fuel system cleaner in this tank for good measure. But as of right now - it's running 100% better with the new wires.

Thanks for all the help james and xci!

Happy to help buddy! Glad its fixed! Personally, I'd purchase Denso wires aftermarket but xci has made a great point to me in the past. May as well just go OEM on wires. They have a vital purpose in running the car and they are probably better than any aftermarket wire.

The set from Honda is $66 here...

In any case, glad the fight is over!
