it wasnt a lot of extra wires, just about 8" of headlight extension (for the high beams) in each of the rubber parts.

Hope mine don't come with that. If they do, i'll have to consult you guys on what to cut off lol. Should get them in by next week.

for anyone with 6000k DDM HIDs, how do they look. Are they really white with a hint of blue? I know colors depends on the kit so I wanted to know how these 6000k looked.

i just know that my ddm 4500k 35w look pure white to me, so you should decide between 5000k or 6000k depending on how blue you want.
personally, i think the obviously blue HIDs look ricy, so if i wanted a hint of blue, i'd go with 5000k, but i've heard many who like the 6000k

I got the DDM slim ballast 35w 5000k and I love 'em. To me, this is pure white. It really has no shade of blue, just white.. less of an attention-getter from the cops too. Also.. can't beat the lifetime warranty.

Good thing I got these back in November when they were going for 50 =)

On a side note.. I ordered the fat ballast ones for $40.00 and they gave me the slim ballast ones instead!

it seems to me that if you want more than a slight hint of blue, you should go for the 6000ks.
