i left mine in - only slightly more of a pain to stow away under the hood.
but it does kinda look awkward with two extra ends of a wire, not to mention the clear bulb case holder. after im satisfied, ill fix it up right and cut those things off,
but so far: i really like my ddms.:action-smiley-042:

how come you left the clear casing on?
lol i bet it looks a little messy, but then again my setup is pretty messy looking because of the wires that come with halos

yes it sounds sad but I won't even know how to install my DDM's when they get here nor how I will be able to place everything under the hood to look clean. Any tutorials? :lolhitting:

it should be a pretty easy plug-and-play especially if you have OEM headlights.
one big thing is you can mount your ballasts UNDER the headlights, that'll definitely clean things up
..i stole that idea from my friend who got HID's for his RSX

instructions come with it. the wording is pretty funky, but once you see the diff wires, it makes sense.

basically;
oem setup =
oval shaped power cord---Headlight
simple HID setup(i.e. without relay)
oval-shaped connector----Ballast--------2proprietary single wires connected--------HID bulb

How would you put them under the headlights?

I'm going to buy a relay harness from another site before i install the HIDs so hopefully i can find a reasonable price for the harness and get these installed ASAP.

what sucks is you gotta take the headlights off, but you should do that anyways because it's really difficult to get the passenger side bulb in without hitting the socket...at least on v6's

The kit should come with double sided tape which is the same size as the ballasts.
Peal one side, stick it on the ballast, clean the dirt of the underside of your headlights, find a good spot so all the wires can reach, peal the other side, stick em on and you're good to go.

My tape fell off after a few weeks and found my ballasts swinging and dangling in behind the bumper
