By bumper reinforcement you mean the metal beam behind the bumper right?? If so I would want that in CF as well.

I go this idea from the e46 M3. I saw one at a body shop with the front bumper cover off.

I think the safety aspect would have to be considered. Unless you are just overlaying the stock pieces, which I think would look great for show purposes, especially if you planned to drop the bumper every time, otherwise........

don't worry about cars...most of us are too slammed for anyone to ever hit the bumper reinforcement....

I'm just considering the practicality of it.....will th epiece be an overlay? If so it is for bling and nothing more. If it is in fact a custom mold being entirely made of CF.....will it withstand the forces put on it from the chassis flex. If you're dropped and you go up a ramp or over a speed bump at an angle your chassis will put forces on that component and CF isn't made for that type of flexing force. If you do pursue it I would just leave the reinforcement off......GL with it

as far as chassis flex is considered the resins I use could withstand the force epoxy is real strong you can also buy special epoxys made for flexing if you were building something else that needed the flexability

you should see the strength of a single layer carbon compared to 2 layers they are both extremely rigid yet have some flex
