DIY 01-03 JDM Civic Fog Lights

FINAL DIY FOR THE HARNESS + SWITCH:

1. 1st pic is self-explanitory
2. the wire with green arrows in pic is USELESS
3. the red wire that is next to the fuse = tapped into POWER of parking lights (red or if its like mine, really red [not orange-ish] + black stripe)
4. the red + black/blue stripe = tapped into TRIGGER wire of corner lights (red + black stripe)
5. upgrade your small light fuse (10) to 15. (don't do 20+; it can f*ck up your sh*t)
the end.
STICKY THIS POST or something so others don't have to go searching through all 45 pages.

i did Lemon's slightly differently...
what you have labeled as the POWER (near the fuse) i used as a trigger (because it's a smaller gauge wire. and what you have labeled as the Trigger (near the relay and switch) is connected directly to the battery (because this is a thicker gauge wire).
if you plan on using the civic switch or using the OEM switch, then you should not power your fogs from the corner lights, they should be powered directly from the battery and only triggered from the corner lights. this way you dont need to replace the fuse because its not drawing any additional power from the corner lights' wiring, the relay will only be looking for current on that trigger wire and when it does see it, it will allow the power from the battery to flow through the civic harness and into the fogs.

hey, so are the 98-00 bumpers supposed to have little notches in the bumper that look like they should be able to accept those fogs off ebay for the 01-02 only fogs. I did have to get the front bumper replaced so do you guys think they put the 01-02 bumper on my car? Or does the 98-00 just have notches to trick you?
the easy way to tell between the 98-00 and 01-02 bumpers is the upper grille. the 98-00's have one bar going across, when the 01-02's have 2 bars going across. judging by your sig pic, you have a 98-00 bumper.....if thats the replacement bumper.
