i had my switch's power wired to my battery (switch was lit up 24/7) but i dont wana risk waking up to a dead car that won't start cause the switch drained the battery's juice so i stayed with the parking lights.

Good job lemon, you did it right!

OEM switch FTW :badger:

If you want brighter fogs, put in an HID kit, but aim it correctly so you don't blind others.

I got my civic fogs in and wired to the switch. the switch is not powered by a connection to the battery but to a place on the fuse box under the steering column. took a while to get it properly hooked up because a little splicing among the civic wires were needed. no oem wires needed to be spliced. I took pics of the whole process so i could make a DIY for hooking up the switch and where to go through the firewall etc. just don't know if i should since this one is already here.

There's already a DIY on how to wire the switch in. However, there is still no clear-cut DIY on wiring the fogs themselves, which is where most people have trouble.
