actually, I'd disagree that there's no advantage to drilled / slotted rotors, but I don't want to completely hijack the thread either.

ok so i'm about to do this, questiosn:
1) v6 rotors are from a '97 i guess?
2) are calipers usually sold with the brackets?
3) can I interchange the brackets and rotors ie '97 v6 calipers and '96 prelude brackets?
4) do i have to match the pads according to the rotors i buy?
thanks
I can answer most of these questions.
Your best bet for 11" rotors with the same bolt pattern as the F23 Accords is to get the 92-96 Prelude VTEC rotors that have the same bolt pattern as the F23 Accords but at 11" vs. our 10" size. Yes, calipers at the dealer are sold with brackets. And of course you want to get bigger pads for your bigger rotors. Take advantage of 'em! If not, no worries but you're wasting all that much metal that won't get heated up as much.
Yeah, but the Prelude VTEC model has the bigger 11" rotors with the same 4x114.3 bolt pattern. Other Prelude models have smaller rotors.
