That's what happens when the guy before you gets aftermarket fenders..

I used a standard Black laquer spray paint. Temperatures in there can get warm, but evidently not enough to crack/melt a few coats of laquer. Some people use an engine enamel, or ceramic enamel. I think that's overkill IMO.

I used engine enamel, but i don't think it went on so well onto the housing. Mine kinda looks a bit wrinkly though, maybe because i sprayed too close, i don't know.

I think just about any paint should work, though i personally would stay away from the basic enamels.

Wet sand/scuff the inserts with 600-1000 grit, wipe down with laquer thinner to remove any dust, dirt, and oils, and paint. Light coat first, 5-10 minutes after it becomes dry to the touch, spray another light coat. Do this for 3-5 coats.

I've had LOTS of practice and experiments painting plastics, and this is the best method I've found. :thumbsup:
