DIY for yakima roof rack?

i've tried google honda-tech and this forum, but i'm having a problem finding a DIY instruction list complete with pics to guide me with installing my newly acquired roof rack system, i got it last night off craigslist complete with q clips. but me and my friend had a hard time trying to put it on, he has a thule rack on his car, but mines a yakima and couldn't help.

any help would be appreciated, comment or leave links for me. thanks in advance..

I know some of you 6th gen owners have roof racks! It's not too much trouble to post pics of the towers and clips on the car so I can have a visual

Honestly, look on Yakima's website to see if they have an instruction sheet on there.

These racks are pretty self explanatory. Are the clips put together or is there a bunch of hardware in a bag. If they are put together then all you have to do is loosen the clips, put the ends of the crossbars in and tighten.

We thought they'd be really self explanatory , but the problem we had was tightening the clips. I'll continue to search for instruction sheets online. Thanks for your help though. And if anyone has close up pics of towers and clips on cars, that would grately be appreciated, thank you.

Was definitely going to be my first question.

Did you buy it from someone with a 6th gen?

Remember that the gold screw in the middle of the clip tightens the clip on the car. Make sure the gold screw are at similar lengths or else the rack will be slanted to one side

I got the rack from a guy with a 7th gen, but I do have the right clips now q92 and q93

Our problem was tightening the towers. But I guess we were doing it wrong. Thanks for help guys, I'll post pics soon! Got my bike newly painted to! Summer nights is perfect for bike cruising!
