Here are my pictures to help with this DIY


Here I circled the areas where I added some felt that I thought may help to reduce any noise and add to the 'solid thud' you will get once you complete this .

Same exact stuff I used. Tucked it away a little bit more, but definitely quieted it down a bit. Had a loud tapping noise from the passenger door panel that's gone now.

Well, I took it but my phone doesn't do its justice either... Maybe the environment was too noisy with bunch of cars driving by. I'll try once again when I go home.

EDIT: Came back home, and I realized that I was going to take a video. But I parked outside, and it should be f*cking freezing outside right now... Let me stay in my room...

Alex, nice work with that. My only suggestion would to tuck the piece on the edge of the door panel in more.

Yeah I just need to run a flat head screw driver or a wide piece of something to push it in a bit . Lol.

I just finished doing the rear doors last night. The edges of the trim are slightly more tricky to follow with the felt padding because it has more curves..

Also note that the rear doors make require a tiny bit more force to close them, but that is what makes it a solid close.

Ok I uploaded a video but as I stated the iPhone could not manage to pick up sound very well.. Listen carefully and you may be able to tell a slight difference in sound between front and rear door.. (Before I managed to do my rear doors)

I really appreciate your effort tho.

I decided to upgrade my dr speakers w/ my old Kicker Resolution component speakers which they've been sleeping in my closet for 7 years. I'm gonna apply Dynamat & Dynaxorb w/ them this Sat, and hopefully posting another DIY stuff here later on. And I will take some videos and post the comparison this time!
