Oh yeah I've been meaning to ask you... you got a 7th gen v6 manual right? How does that feel? That's my second best choice to getting a 6spd swap ;)

more old and mature than you...thats for sure....

trust me....you dont think i loved my 6thgen?
but in reality....6thgens are 2 generations behind...
despite the fact that it has best design among 6, 7, 8th gen....it IS an old car...
swapping engine, tranny, seats, adding this and that....well yes, it might satisfy many wants/needs....

but its nothing like having newer oem car that just feels much better....

i know i sound like a dick...but it is true....

thats funny that you say that.... my wife had a 1992 2dr acura legend... alot of the styling and features are fairly similar in my 98 2dr.. lol of course they have different body styles but the 5th gen accords never had any of the features that the legends had...

yup. 04 V6 6spd coupe.
it feels great. obviously first gear pulls like no other.
second gear almost feels like first gear on 4cyl 5spd i had.
3rd, 4th, still close gear, pulls too. 5th is "suppsed" to be cruising gear along with 6th gear.

but trust me....from 80mph @ about 2.8k rpm, on 6thgear....still pulls and be able to pass majority of the car and change lane/get off the freeway......

i chirp 2nd gear by accident all the time....:) great feeling.....

i just like to keep my baby mint and looking pretty... even my fobz who didn't know anything abt cars understands this.. she knows i do not blow a huge amt of money on my car at one given time, but she understands that some mods tht i do r cheaper than getting OEM replacement...

she was so pissed when she saw wat my house owner did to my car.. she said the owner would never understand cars... she even said tht mah car was more special than the owner's brand new C class because there's no other like mine :ownedrun: ... damn i love tht fob

Not really.

My 99 Accord is so-so.

We've had 2 86's, 95, 96, 99, 2 03's and 1 08 Accord come and go in this family. There was no joy like driving my old 86 Accord around. I just recently sold it to a girl in H/S and miss it a lot. It ran like a top, and if it had A/C it would still be here today, probably.

My 96 Accord is the ultimate automotive love my my life. 12 years with that wonderful machine. Never let my family down once! No tow trucks or any of that business. Things have gone out, but still, nothing severe enough for a breakdown.

In 2 years I'll be driving our 2005 TL instead of the 99 Accord, so I'm looking forward to that. :)
