dye steering wheel

got my new steering wheel and on some parts it looks faded probably cuz of the sun...duz anyone know wat to use to make it nice and black again

Your best bet is to just buy a used one in better shape on ebay or on the classifieds in here (or a CL/TL wheel) for like $30-50. The only real way to make it right to to get it recovered, and for that price you might as well just buy a new one. I had one recovered (leather) for my 300zx at DallasSteeringwheel.com and it was about $250 including return shipping.

Just use leatherique. It's a well respected product and the steering wheel kit is cheap. I think the site is still leatherique.com

you need to remember that most leather dyes were never meant to be used on something that will be repeatedly held over and over


you are better of finding a leather restoration kit than a leather dye kit
