Ohh okay haha got cha! what are the benefits from having a one piece instead of two? it seems as if two piece are the way to go for all intakes.

its just if you want to switch from SRI to CAI just depending what your perference is...like i been running SR for awhile cause it been raining down in houston for the past couple of months...but then it got reallllyy cold recently and i check the weather forcast and its not raining so i threw my CA back on but i invested a bypass valve now so im good to go...and its beastly i have to say because its really cold in houston now...such a big difference

You might as well just go with a good namebrand (filter at least) SRI...

Unless you're in so-cal or weather where the air is consistently 90 F or above, there's not too much of a big difference in any HP gains from what I've read.

And personally hydrolock is one less thing I'd want to be concerned about, I'll take the couple horsepower cut.

people wouldnt have to worry about hydro lock if they pulled thier heads out of their asses and realized that they are driving a car not a big fuking truck so stay out of big fuking water puddles!.... if you dont know how deep it is then dont drive thru it

how much do those K&N filter go for? 50? damn if it was 50, i'll be pi$$ed. i rather buy a brand named sri for a bit more. are there any Decent filter that aren't too expensive?

i had all sorts of filters. but those difference, i couldn't really feel.

just go with apc.

but change them every 3000 miles?

i got a ebay sri/cai that i can change a couple weeks ago and i gotta say i felt a BIG difference in performance. ive only used it as a cai so far (doesnt rain in florida during winter/spring) so id so dont waste money on a brand name when its not gonna make a difference
