Also Apexi WS comes in a universal version. so you dont need to get one designed for another can and cut off the muffler.

ebay is stainless steel. dont no if anything bad about it but i just dont like it. (it smells) the shops uses aluminized pipes that the car comes with from factory. and pipes wont cost that much its the bending. but if your cousin owns a muffler shop. im sure 80 would cover pipes and bending and mabey even to weld on the muffler. someone wanted to charge me 185 for a v6 for the full exhaust and bending. so i say cut in half cuz they were over charging me.

I just did a quick research on aluminum vs steel pipes, but they say pretty much the only difference is weight vs durability. My cousin owns an autobody shop not a muffler shop Haha, he just does alot of welding and im pretty sure welding a canister to the pipings shouldn't be that much harder than welding quarter panels and front ends.

Ya my friend did it. Got the catback for 80$the chopped the canister
Off and put a ws2 look alike muffler! It looks tits and sounds beasty
its called a Megan mo-e muffler! He paid 120$ for the muffler. Not
bad, can't vouch for the material but he hasn't had issues! Get 2.5"
Its better for our 2.3 liters! Good luck on that sir!

Thanks for the feedback, what car did your buddy have this setup on?

I have ebay piping but i have a magnaflow resignator and magnaflow muffler from my old exhaust welded on to it. It sounds just like the magnaflow exhaust that was on my car, not to loud not to quiet just right

How is the pipings holding on? Any cracks?

im rocking the ebay apexi N1 exhaust.. honestly i love it.. it sounds perfect and i get nothing but good things said on the way it sounds from friends. they say its kinda loud but i also deleted both resonators.

but if i were you.. i;d go name band.. i know im soon to swap over to a better exhaust setup even with having only good things to say about the knock off

I don't really nice the N1 style exhaust and it is too flashy compared to most axleback systems. Isn't it alot louder when you delete your resonators?

The main thing to look for with piping is the material.

Ebay has a slick way of making things seem legit, but they are not, so you want to be very thorough in reading the product details and/or contacting the seller about what the piping is actually made of.

Secondly, if your cousin owns a shop, can he not hook you up with a deal on piping?

Yeah thats why im really sketchy about buying from ebay, usually deals don't really turn out the way you expect if they aren't name brand equipments.

Cousin owns a bodyshop, he can hook me up on welding if they are slow, but other than that, he doesnt have much acess to exhaust systems. He can make a few calls because he does know alot of local shops, but other than that it shouldn't be too much.

A bunch of my friends did full ebay exhausts. Sounded good but being low and scraping puts holes in it fast

I'm not worried about small scrapes here and there, but if it scrapes so much to the point where it put holes in the piping or crack, that's the only thing I'm really worried about.

Also Apexi WS comes in a universal version. so you dont need to get one designed for another can and cut off the muffler.

Wouldn't the hangers need to be modified for it to sit correctly though?

Ah I see thanks. They should okay, not really the sound I'm aiming for though.

Looking for something similar to the stock/WS series sound.

I'm thinking ill just check craigslist for a while and maybe find some AP1/2, CL-s, 02-08 SI, or something that suites the rear and just have it welded onto my stock pipings. I just want it to look nice from the rear because the stock tip isn't cutting it lol.

keep in mind exhaust never sounds the way it does in real life as on a recording

Yeah thats true, but I just don't like the let's say Roar from a Honda haha.

I just want something that will compliment the rear of the car :)
