lol.............no not really. First you have to find all the parts that are needed to swap to manual, plus the actual tranny, you will end up spending around 1100. Ive spent enough on getting the motor in and running as it is already ( $3000), so I will run auto LSD for now, and swap to stick later. Car has been out of commission long enough, and iam ready to have some fun with it.
Hellllllllll yeaaaaaaa

I've done 3 swaps in my life now.

93 Accord Auto w/JDM H22a Auto w/LSD OBD1
93 Accord Manual w/JDM H22a Manual OBD1
87 RX-7 Manual w/JDM Cosmo 13B Turbo II

A couple things you might want to consider...

6th gen Accord auto uses single ECU (combined ECU/TCU)
OBD1 H22a uses separate ECU and TCU
(I do not know if the OBD2 to OBD1 harness converts that for you)

I had a guy offer to help me with my 2nd swap (93 Accord manual) and he thought he knew how to wire up the electrical. He hacked away at the engine's wire harness and nothing ran right. I did alot of reading and I asked alot of questions. Be aware of your sources of information. Not everyone that has done a swap knows how to fix your swap project. Not all "mechanics" understand wiring diagrams. And the most important advice I can give you is "Keep it simple, Stupid". Keeping everything as stock as possible during a swap is the best way of doing it. You can mod it up anyway you like after it's in there, but getting the car to run correctly first should be your highest priority.

Good luck and remember, a stock wire harness is cheap to replace. Maybe you should try to replace that first before moving on to other things.

If I were to do this swap, I would keep it OBD2. It gets complicated when you go from OBD2 to OBD1. Experts with swaps would say otherwise but most of us are not experts.

Oh, why are you getting an OBD2 ECU for an OBD1 engine?

ImportKitz, thanks for the info, but a already know all of that now. I was the person who got my engine to fire, wired my own resistor box, etc, my mechanic was basically worthless unless it involved physical mechanical labor. I originally had a obd1 auto setup (chipped ecu+jdm Tcu) waiting for the motor, only to find out the obd1 tcu cant control the shiftpoints in a obd2 auto tranny, because of the number of shift selinoids. So i was running the obd2 accord ecu till i fix the problem. Then i tried the f20b auto ecu, being that it was obd2 and could control the obd2 tranny and run a dohc vtec motor, but the immobilizer was the issue. So i went ahead an got a obd1 jdm auto lsd tranny, and now i can run my obd1 setup no problem. yeah, I couldve just bought the tranny in the beginning and I wouldnt have any of these problems, but it was all a learning experience in obd2-obd1 auto h22 conversions.

Tranny swap went very well, i had to rewire the tranny sensors, it was a bit of a pain, but at this point tracing out sensors seemed commonplace lol. Also Iam the first Auto H22 obd1 swap in a 6th Generation Accord, so if any of you auto guys are attempting this swap, i will soon do a how-to in the tech section. Now to the good part. The car feels very strong, auto LSD is nice, if i stomp the gas both tires break loose, and 2nd gear chirps. Vtec crosses at 4400 as the chipped Xenocron ecu has it, and redline is 8k. My TCU shifts at 7200, but ofcourse i can hold it to 8. Vtec pulls good, and its not the traditional huge tone at crossover, it just slides into vtec at 4400 an pulls hard to redline. On the highway it feels like I can go to 160 with these long gears lol, but ive only got it to 135 due to traffic limitations. People who say auto h22s are slow havent driven many, ive already taken out a b16 hatch, my swap is a "pure" night n day difference from a f23 auto or f23 period for that matter. With all the situations my swap has been through, iam glad to finally enjoy it. Thanks to the guys that offered info and support.

Im glad to see that you figured everything out. That engine adds a lot to the fun factor of these cars.

Is that an ebay header? If so, how was the fitment?
